Charles Phillips CEO Boosts Companies to a Higher Level

Over the years, ever since he finished college, Charles Phillips CEO had wrought change wherever he is. Whether he may be sharing his thoughts as director at Viacom Corporation, software analyst at Morgan Stanley, co-president at Oracle, or CEO at Infor, he has contributed to the betterment of the progress and development of a business, both directly and discretely. Of the many ventures he worked with, Oracle was one of the places where he grew a lot. He changed the face and the reputation of the world’s largest software company into something the computer industry will be very proud of.

Oracle was already successful as a business that caters to large clients who avail of their products and services in addressing networking concerns for wide scale office connections, database protection, and digital computing. Lawrence J. Ellison, Oracle’s CEO, looked into the portfolio of Charles Phillips and seen that he was excelling in Morgan Stanley as a software analyst and also had a fair background in finance and number when he worked as an analyst for other companies like Bank of New York, Kidder, SoundView Financial Group Inc., and Peabody & Co. Every company that Charles Phillips CEO helped excelled one way or another.

The only direction that Charles Phillips CEO leads his companies is upward and forward. And with Larry Ellison seeing Mr. Phillips’s potential in making his pursuits real, he did not think twice about having a powerhouse included in Oracle’s staff. Although there have been reservations with having Charles as an acting CEO, he was appointed as co-president later on. He did not have much experience in the said industry, but he was a star when it comes to conversing with clients and developing relationships. Because of his ability, he was given the task to lead acquisition efforts that made Oracle into a bigger company than it was before 2003.

Charles Phillips CEO gave an amazing boost in all cycles of the business, from acquisition rates, to growth in profit, license software, and revenue. All of these were improved as Mr. Phillips acquired over 31 companies in 3 years and doubled even before he stepped down from Oracle in September 2010. The experience he had for 7 years did not stop there. Infor had hired Charles Phillips to be the new CEO, leading the company into the next stage of development, boosting the midsized business ERP software provider into a higher level.
